The Lily of The Pond

In this roll play, there is a secret pond far away from all, but nature. And a small city, with no plants not even grass, is getting very dirty and polluted. But, in that secret pond, lays a beautiful lily in bloom. But, it is a special lily, that carries magic, that can save the poor little city. It is up to the characters in this roll play, to bring the lily to the city. But it shall not be easy to get the lily. There are dragons, cursed plans, Sirens, the wildest rivers, evil enchanted books, and a witch named Bonnie, that is trying to get the lily for herself to make evil potions.

History: She has been running, or swimming, her whole life whether for fun or from the hunters. It was only recently when she turned 17 that she turned 17 and was able to walk on land. She has troubles with walking and running though. Now she is still beginning chased but now she is stuck on land because she was outcasted from her pod.

Tallulah looked out of her city building, sighing at the sight of all the careless people, that trash the city, that used to be a peaceful little town. I guess I should read a book, I mean there's nothing else better to do... Tallulah walked over to a book-case, and sat in her bed to read. The book was titled "Stupid Plants" Gosh, what idiot would think plants are stupid. The book had strange topics in it, like "The Tall Green Things?" And the "Annoying thing that grows on buildings." But, there was one title that took Talullah's curiosity. It was titled "A weird thing, in a lake." Hmm... What? Tallulah flipped to page 36, the page about the "Weird thing in the lake." In a far away place, there was a lake, with a magical thing... "What the?" She muttered. "Well, where is this strange thing?" Tallulah looked it up, and all it said is "It's problobly in the deractian of left, from where you are." Wow, like that's helpful, and when did people forget on how to spell? Tallulah got out of her bed and went downstairs to the door. She cached a bus, that was heading in the direction of left, and soon got off, and it was still all city, so she kept walking forward, and around buildings, until she reached the very first few trees she ever saw in her life.

Vixen loved his life. He had the fresh air all around him and never had to breathe in polluted air , that is until today. Saki fell ill, so he had to fill in. None of his other siblings could because Beck was watering the field and Kayla had to watch Silvia when his mom and dad were gone. Vixen let out a sigh as he tied baskets full of fresh fruits and vegetables on to his electrical scooter. He sat down and twiddled the keys in his fingers for a moment. The keys jingled together as he thought. I wonder what the town looks like. I wonder if father would be angry if a made friends with a stranger? Besides he can't keep me locked up here. I want to do something great in the future! Like be the first man on Pluto or find the rarest of treasures. She smiled brightly and started the engine. He hit the accelerator and sped off down the trail.

The trees grew thinner and dead as he trailed on. Most trees didn't have their leaves or birds sitting a singing, except for a few crows and ravens here and there. Scavengers. He rolled his eyes as he passed by ravens pecking at a dead rabbit carcass. The trail soon had no grass and bare land with small dead trees around. He looked at the astonishing scene. He didn't even realized that the town was straight ahead. His eyes drifted back to the road. His eyes widened when he saw how close he was getting and what he was heading at. "Watch out!" He shouted at a girl who was staring at the trees, as he slammed on the brakes. When he hit the brakes the front tire came to an erupt stop and the scooter bucked him off. He was sent flying into one of the few trees. "I should get the extended warranty." He groaned while laying upside down against the tree trunk. At least I won't be charged with sue for not hitting her and not be charged with man slaughter for not killing her. And thank goodness the baskets remained tied down or else father would be furious.

"I've been on land for only two weeks. And yet I still don't know how to walk properly. Running has been my only option for these two weeks. The hunters won't stop till they capture me and make me lead them to great fortune. Yet, I have been running and I still stand. Food hasn't been the kindest offer to me. I can't hunt on land. In water I'll just be putting my self at risk. The bread I have gained from thievery is about gone. I don't know how much longer I can survive. Hopefully I will die before the hunters even find the treasure with my guidance." She wrote swiftly and neatly in a book she held. The book was scaled and the paper was water proof. She hugged the book tightly and laid down on a leaf bed. She had recently found herself a little hollow. But she may only use it once. The hunters will rest at day but come for her at night. Before Dusk she must move. She has gained a new motive. At 5:00pm she must leave and run. The hunters won't begin until 8:00. She knows that she is gaining time. She could sleep for very little but yet run for much longer. She closed her golden eyes and fell into a quiet slumber.

"Oh dear!!" Tallulah yelled, as a boy flew into the trees from a scooter. "Are you okay!? Oh my, uh.. Is there anything I can do to help?!!" Wow, who would'v thought this would happen, when all I'm doing is going to a lake.... Well anything can happen... Tallulah walked over to the tree the boy was stuck in and looked at him in surprise.

Stella reached for her iPhone, she had left the cottage to go for a walk around town. I wonder what Talu is up to "Hello?"

Riiiing riiiiing riiiiiing "Oh! My phone, must be Stella!" Tallulah picked up the phone and answered. "Hello?" "Oh, hi Stella! What's going on? I'm on a look out search for a pond, wanna join. But guess what? A boy flew into a tree, from a scooter! You might wanna come over, I don't know if the boys alright. We'r by the west side of the city." Tallulah hung-off the phone.

"Wow!, I better head over so the trees on the west part of the city near the park?, ill be there!" WOW OMG and she hung up the phone.

"Just be sure the crops are alright." He waved his hand and pointed to the baskets. He quickly pulled himself up and held his head. "That was actually fun. I should try that again some day." He snickered to himself and came to his feet. "Sorry for almost hitting on though. What were you doing staring into the woods like that though?" He questioned and rubbed the back of his neck from the pain.

"Well, because I was born in the middle of the city, I decided to check it out, and find a special lake I heard about from a book. Oh by the way, here." Talu grabbed the baskets and handed them over. "Also, my names Talu, yours?"

Stella's brown eyes glimmered. She packed her books, 2 large journals, a huge bottle of water, 2 water bottles, pens, trail mix, crackers, nuts, gold fish, 2 twix, and a butterfinger. Hopefully theres a town on the way! 300$ should do. "Mom I'm going out." she said grabbing her backpack. "Ok"

Stella arrived in the arch of trees. "Hi, Im stella!" she said quickly."whats yours?"

Vixen looked at her when she gave him the baskets. "Thanks, Talu." He started. He noticed the other girl pop in. "It's nice to meet you both. I am Vixen Nyx. My father and I run the farm that brings your town the food. Oh, as a greeting gift take these." He dug through one basket and pulled out two small cloths that were packed with strawberries. "One for each."

"Oh, thank you!" Stella looked at him gratefully. "So do you wanna join our trip?" She asked him smiling.

"First I must ask what exactly you guys are looking for?" He looked at the sky then to Stella. "If it means that I can prove to my father that I can do great things, count me in." He snickered. He headed over to his scooter and tied the baskets down. "Also if I join and we venture today I will still have to drop one of these baskets off at the market."

Talu grabbed one of the strawberries, and did a sine of thanks with her eyes. "Well, we,r looking for a strange thing in a pond. At least thats how a book titled it. And it says that the strange thing is magic. So if you'r looking for a magic thing.... Than, I guess that can prove you'r self?? And if you needa get those to a market, me and Stella, can show you where a near-by market is. C'mon!" Talu said, pointing into the city.

"Alright." He sighed and began to wheel the scooter. "Did the book have any coding in it? Because I am great at codes. Unless it's in another language." He dug in the basket and then popped a raspberry in his mouth.

"I'm not sure, didn't check it. But it's still on my bed if I wanna get it. Well, my house is only like a bus ride away, so I guess I'll get it. I'll be back in about 10 minutes!" Tallulah said running off into the city. "Stella can show you a market!"

"Ok bye!" Stella yelled at talu. "Well then, follow me!" Its over near the bank so straight ahead from us, see the grocery store its on th other side!" she said walking beside vixen.
