you just find a picture of a cat that looks like your character from a search engine. Go to your Profile>>Avatar>>Browse>> choose your picture>> upload.

You have to apply once an application comes up and the admins will choose if you're good enough to lead on of the clans.

Applications won't be up for another week or two but i'll be sure to see if I can get you an application soon for the leader applications are mostly likely to be posted only by the main admin. I'll see if I can get a word to EchoStar about this.
