The unfamiliar
PROLOGUE
The thunder outside was roaring like a lion and lightning flashing as if it were a flashlight that would never stop flashing in the mid of night. River soon woke up with a start of the thunder cracking outside. Her dreams were still floating around in her head as if she never woke up. She looked around the room but all she could see was nothing but black, like if she were in a endless void of blackness, and black only. She soon got out of bed and looked around tell she was able to pick out the sight of some candles, so she went and lit one up. She soon got memorized by the flickering flame she didn't notice that there were eyes staring at her. The eyes were very big but bright. Soon her candle burned by a window that open'd and let out a fierce wind. She soon saw nothing but black and she fell down without a sound.
