Mist Shall Cover The Blood

I may not be in RiverClan but I thought that they could need a topic since RiverClan is my second favorite clan.

We will start with a story which happened many seasons ago when CrookedStar just became Leader and SilverStream was born. Also I am changing up CrookedStars Promise a little due to this RP.

The sky was dark and a thin claw of the waning moon can be seen through the tree tops that circled the sunning rocks, which was recently taken back by Riverclan. BrambleBerry padded up to the SunningRocks with her leader trailing behind her. She hitched a claw into a hold and hauled her self up onto the rocks. CrookedStar bend down adjusting his haunches before leaping onto the rocks. " What is it that you have dragged me out here BrambleBerry?" CrookedStar flicked his ear. BrambleBerry shifted around and looked at her leader in the eyes. " What I am about to tell you, I wouldn't want the other clan cats to hear for it my reek havoc among the others." She sighed and flicked her spotted tail signaling for him to sit. " I have received a prophecy, no an Omen." She began. " However I know that this Omen has awful fate to it but I yet don't know what the fate is. " She stopped and looked at the moon. " What was the Omen?" He demanded. " The young, newly, fresh mist shall cover the blood at a needed time but it will not last." She repeated the omen given to her from the ancestors of Riverclan. " I don't know if this involves a cat or not but it obviously has blood in it. So we must keep this Omen hidden. It's to not be heard by any other cat. This Omen will die with you and me both." BrambleBerry padded back and forth and jumped off the rocks with CrookedStar following behind. " This is our secret."

Hollypaw stalked through the early morning. Twigs of juniper berries and blackberry leaves dangled from her jaw as she dashed through the grasses. She peered out over the tall grass then ducked back down. The entrance to the camp was a few fox lengths away from her. She picked up her pace and clenched down on the herbs. She busted through the camp entrance then slid on the mud and rammed into the wall of the medicine cat den. "Ow."

"Hollypaw!" Amberleaf scolded gently. "What are you doing?"

Amberleaf poked her head out of the medicine den, the light dancing over her pelt.

"Sorry, Amberleaf." Hollypaw ducked her head and hurriedly changed the subject. "I brought the herbs you asked for."

"Perfect." she mewed crisply and took them from her. "Skyfeather and his patrol recently ran into a bees' hive and he was stung. The
blackberry leaves will help lots."

Amberleaf padded back inside with the herbs and took a deep breath, the sweet and bitter scent of herbs flooding her jaws and
mingling in the air.

Hollypaw followed her mentor into the den. "I still find it funny how they ran into bees when the sun is barely up." She sat down and leaned against the wooden wall. "Wait a second. Wasn't there five cats on the patrol including Skyfeather? Who are we missing that's not in the medicine den? They most likely got stung." Hollypaw was now face to face with Skyfeather, waiting for an answer.

(Sorry, Fawnstar. First roleplay, didn't mean to)

Amberleaf carefully applied the poultice of blackberry leaves to a member in Skyfeather's patrol. The first rays of sunlight spilled into the den through the interlocking leaves woven tightly above her head. The sun was just rising over the mountains, a disk of pure light hovering above the four Clans.

Recently, an ominous dream had been haunting her through the days. Amberleaf assumed it was from Starclan, but it had been so dark, so dark...

"Ahh forget about it." She sighed. "I am going to go lay down. My head has been hurting a lot!" She stated and padded off. She walked wobbly to her nest squinting her eyes in pain. No! She laid down and threw her paws over her head.
"Hollypaw... listen closely..." a voice echoed.
"P-please I don't wanna face anymore pain." She stated sitting up, shaking vigorously, as hers eye flashed a white colored constantly.
The starry cat, visible to only herself, padded up and touched Hollypaw's forehead with her nose. Hollypaw rolled out of her nest in even more pain. Her eye were now fully white. "A-amberleaf." She whispered before passing out.

Amberleaf whipped around quickly. "Hollypaw!"

She quickly rushed to her side, but could see no injuries and relaxed. It must have been overexertion, Amberleaf decided quickly.

The small she-cat seemed perfectly normal, eyes closed although breathing was fast.

She turned back around and jumped in shock as a dark, hulking figure stood in the entrance, amber eyes flashing menacingly.

"Who are you?!" she mewed, her voice quivering slightly.

A piercing yowl split the silent morning and sent chills up her spine. The dark figure shifted slightly and a harsh laugh issued from it.

Amberleaf glanced behind her at Hollypaw to check on her, breathing a sigh of relief to see she was alright.

When she looked up again, the dark shadow was gone.

Sparrow gaze rished into the medicine cat den and looked at amberleaf. "I heard yelling what happened?" He demanded to know .

Holly paw stood up on shakes legs and looked at the warrior. She shook her head and turned to amberleaf.

"Nothing much sparrow gaze, I just tripped." She scowled and walked away. I hope she saw it too. she sighed, pushing past the Tom. "I am going to get water, and don't bother following me."

Amberleaf watched the small she-cat leave to get water and her eyes fell on Sparrowgaze. She hurriedly averted her eyes. "She'll be fine." Amberleaf mewed briskly. "Just overexertion, I think."

Sparrowgaze nodded. "Well then." He watched the crabby apprentice leave. "If you need any help at all give me a call." He turned around and walked off. He took his position at the front entrance and looked over the tall grass. Nothing looked unusual, yet. He turned around and walked into the camp.
"Shadowhunter!" He called for her.

She had been in a dark place with only the moon as light; a luminous flat disk suspended in a dark sky dusted with stars. Water lapped rhythmically on the sandy bank below her. She stood on a grassy overhang above the shore.

Suddenly, the water slowly turned brown. No, not brown. Red. Red like blood, warm and sticky, the metallic tang of it filling the air. It covered my paws, but she couldn't move. Her paws felt like they were rooted to the ground as the hot, thick blood lapped higher and higher. Soon, the blood soaked her pelt as she shrieked in horror. A low laugh resonated from around her as the blood submerged her, sticky liquid washing over her head.

Mistpaw jolted awake, breathing heavily and eyes wide. Her nest was torn apart and deep claw marks were gouged in the ground. What a nightmare!
