Fugitives of the Legion

For starters I have been having a strange obsession with the 1930s and 40s. I don't know why but I guess this RP is going to be based in that time zone.


Basically we create a character and have them escape and yada. This is a 1930 kingdom but it is highly developed and no electronics exist. It is a rule that females must wear a dress and hair isn't allowed to be down(often broken) and males must wear jeans and sleeves. Shoes are optional.

Extra: Not really afraid of much, is already out in the woods only really cares for her self, likes being in the dark and being alone. And hates the King with all her life, she used to be a personal slave for the King.

Okay, starting.

Claudia walked across the hard cement carrying a large straw basket full of newly harvest vegetables. She stopped by a small village pool, and dipped in one of the vegetables. Then, she lifted her apron and began to scrub the vegetable. The water felt good on her blistered fingers.

Silently, she thought about village life.Life in the village is so rough. Why do I have to make all my one food and work all day in the sun?

She glanced towards the large impossible wall. It was know as "The Impossible Wall." By most of the villagers. Because it was impossible to get by. Claudia had always wondered what lay on the other side of the wall, but she wasn't in a hurry to try to escape. But, that didn't mean she wasn't curious. Because, if going out was punishable by death, there was probably something that the King really didn't want anyone to see. She looked back at her basket, and then pulled out the next vegetable.

Prim roamed through the village streets. She was happy to be released from her fathers sight and grasping rule. On her arm hung a wooden basket filled with herbs, spices, fruit and veggies. Bells from the church rang loudly, children laughed, and men shouted trying to sell their products. She approached a stand where many birds were caged. She kneeled down and looked at a blue bird through the bars. The bird lunged at her. She leaped back before it got her.

"Be careful pretty lady. That one there is a feisty little fella." The man spoke to her.

"I can see that." She mumbled and watched the bird puff its feathers and flour out its wings. She thought for a moment. "I'll take him of your hands." She turned to him and held out a pouch of coins. "Don't say that this bird isn't for sale. There's twenty gold pieces in there. Use how ever you please." She threw the pouch of gold at the desk. The man looked at her strangely because of her strange accent(British accent).

"The only man in know with that kind of strange voice is the king. Are you related in some how?" He dragged the pouch towards himself and dropped it in a hidden basket.


Yes."No. I guess I am just lucky." She picked up the bird cage and began walking around.

The wind blew, making the trees swish around making the water droplets fall and dew blowing off the long blades of grass. Alice stayed far from the wall making sure that no one would notice that shes out. She soon went into a cave far below the ground and used all her strength to push a bolder by the opening to the cave. She stared in pitch black and herd water dropping making her relax. She sat there in silence and slowly went to sleep.

Wes sat on the front porch of his home. Each house on the block was made of brick and each built together, just like town houses. He never really enjoyed the place, their were hardly any kids his age and nothing for him to do. Sometimes he'd go downtown to buy some groceries, or visit his dad at his shop, though today, he had nothing planned. Not even his only friend on the block was available to hang out. Sighing, Wes stood up from his spot and decided to just go for a walk. Maybe today he could go to the Library or perhaps stop by an apple farm. Shaking his head in annoyance, he mumbled, "No gosh darnit...Thats not fun either. Geez! There's nothing interesting in this town!"

Prim dropped the cage and basket off at the bakery. They knew her well and cared for her. She travelled without her items for the mean time. She looked back to see her fathers guards. Seems they finally came. Three hours... that's a new record. She smirked and skipped into run. The guards began chasing her. She saw a man pushing a cart filled with oranges.

"'Cuse me! I need this!!" She shouted and took the cart. She dumped the oranges but took the cart. She got into a fast run. She spun around and released the cart. The cart took down two guards but the other three came. She jumped and slammed open the church doors. "I call Sanctuary!" She shouted and the guards skidded to a stop. As always... I win.

Claudia spun around. There was a commotion in the street. She saw one of the kings guards fall backwards. She heard somebody scream, then began to look for the screamer. As this happened she tripped over her basket and fell into the crowd, knocking her head, hard. Everything was going blurry, she tried to grab on to something, anything but it was swishing away she was falling, slightly, and then her mind went blank.

Claudia who had been knocked out, lay on the ground, as the villagers rushed passed her.

Continuing down the road, Wes seemed to be heading to a near by park. It was usually deserted with no one around, which made it a fine place to sit alone and think. Of course, there were some playground equipment, like swings or see-saws but each was nearly rusted. Though that wouldnt stop him from enjoying swinging slowly back and forth. In fact, he thought that it was a bit calming. Glancing up from looking down the whole trip, Wes saw the lonely park. Tree's surrounded the place on each side and further back, a huge wall lay just beyond. Perhaps that was the reason the park was never visited anymore. He always wondered who's bright idea it was to build a park in such a secluded place like this. Casually strolling over, Wes settled down on one of the swings. It made a low squeaky sound but nothing more.

( I do not know how to do the thing that shows there thinking so I'm just gonna say she was thinking it.)

"LYDIA" A man walked up to Lydia. " We need you to help the other maidens in the kitchen with lunch, go, now! You shall get a break later.. " The man said to her. *thinking: Yeah right, more like I'm never gonna get a break.: done thinking* Lydia open'd the door to the kitchen and washed her hands. " What are we making today for lunch?" Lydia asked. One of the other kitchen maidens looked at her. "We'r making tomato soup." The maiden said. "But doesn't the King always say he only wants that for dinner and never lunch?" Lydia replied, "well he said tomato soup so thats what we'r doing." The maiden walked out and started cutting a tomato. Lydia walked up and grabed a knife and did the same.

Prim waited around. Five minutes have passed and she poked her head outside the church. She grinned seeing that the guards have left. She skipped out and planned her path to the bakery. She looked around at all the stands once more. She sighed happily then her foot came contact with something on the ground. She landed face first. “Ow.” She rose and rubbed her nose. She could see crimson liquid stained her hand and seep between her fingers. “Dang nab it.” She growled to herself and looked to see what she tripped over. It was a knocked out girl. She whipped out a handkerchief and placed it over her nose. With her non-bloodied hand she shook the girl. “Hey get up.” She began. “You don’t want to lay here too long or the vulture will get to you or you’ll be trampled. Hello?” She shook her once more.

Alice shook her head as she woke up. She sighed and pushed the bolder out. She got cross by all the light blinding her eye. She checked how far away she was from the wall protecting the village. She decided to move further threw the trees to double check she was save. Her hair blew in the wind and damped in the rain. Her feet got very sour, but she kept going on haunted by the fact of getting caught by the kings gaurd's, gaurding the walls and looking for anyone who has escaped. Her tummy growled loudly. She held her tummy in despair, and went on, looking for any berries or apple trees. The rain soon stopped and she looked at the sky, the sun blazing in the sky. *Thinking: I can't belive how hot the sun can get just after some rain...: Done thinking* She soon walked up to a huge leafy tree far from the wall, she decided to climb up the tree to see if she can spot anything she can eat...
